Jerome is a Perth based Occupational Therapist providing NDIS occupational therapy services across the Perth metropolitan area. He works with children, adolescents, and adults, as well as families, carers, support workers, and support coordinators. Jerome supports individuals with a wide range of physical, neurological, developmental, and psychosocial disabilities, always tailoring his approach to the person and their everyday environment.
Jerome is known for his calm, practical, and down to earth style. Jerome has a strong understanding of the NDIS and provides a range of occupational therapy services across Perth, Western Australia. These include Functional Capacity Assessments, Home and Living Assessments including SIL and SDA, sensory assessments, assistive technology assessments, and detailed clinical reports and recommendation letters to support NDIS funding and plan reviews. He works closely with support coordinators and families to ensure reports are clear, relevant, and practical.
Jerome has significant experience supporting children and adolescents in home, school, and community settings. His work with families often focuses on emotional regulation, sensory processing, daily routines, self care, and participation in everyday activities. He values collaboration with parents, teachers, and support teams to create strategies that fit naturally into daily life.
Jerome also supports adults with physical, neurological, and psychosocial disabilities. His experience includes stroke rehabilitation, acquired brain injury, upper limb rehabilitation, mental health occupational therapy, and community access. Interventions are focused on building independence, confidence, and participation in meaningful activities.
Jerome provides assessment, trial, and recommendation of Assistive Technology and home modifications to support safety and independence at home. This includes wheelchairs, shower and toileting equipment, grab rails, ramps, adjustable beds, pressure mattresses, recliners, and other supports. He takes a hands on approach to ensure equipment is practical, well matched, and actually used.
Jerome has worked with individuals with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, intellectual disability, developmental delay, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, epilepsy, visual impairment, respiratory conditions, hemiparesis, and complex behaviours of concern. His experience across diverse presentations allows him to adapt therapy to each individual's needs and circumstances.
Where appropriate, Jerome integrates Virtual Reality into occupational therapy sessions to increase engagement, motivation, and functional practice. This technology is used thoughtfully as part of a broader therapy plan and is supported with training and guidance to ensure it is safe and goal focused.
